THEME:

Life places many demands on our time and energy and balance can feel like an unrealistic dream.  Balance is not a static condition that you can possess and preserve.  It is an activity that you continually engage in as you make corrections throughout your life.  Balance  becomes the harmonious integration of all aspects of your life. 



 

OUTLINE:

This interactive and reflective workshop examines the results of a lack of balance in one’s life, as well as suggestions for establishing balance based on the S-O-S PrincipleTM. Beverly's inspiring presentation and video will provide you with an opportunity to focus your goals, examine your life to bring it into balance using activity management strategies and will give you tips to increase and conserve your energy in order to design the life you wish to lead.   



OBJECTIVES:

Attend this workshop to:

  • Discover the results of a lack of balance and recognize your behavioural, physiological, and psychological stress symptoms

  • Identify the many areas of importance in your life and ensure that major life goals are included on daily tasks using simple activity management techniques

  • Examine various aspects of life in order to utilize simplification and de-junking strategies

  • Be aware of your energy cycles when setting a daily plan and utilize different types of stress busters to conserve and free up this energy

  • Create balance utilizing 3 categories of stress management strategies to develop your Personal Action Plan based on the S-O-S PrincipleTM



 

Workshop presentations use a combination of personal assessment tools, computerized presentations, videos, personal stories and group work.  Workshop may include a bound manual for each participant.
